The Dead Cat Poetry Prize is back!

Following on from the enormous success of the inaugural prize (see winning entries here), Felix Bodminmoor and Koshka von Katze are proud to announce that the 2023 Dead Cat Poetry Prize is now open for entries.

The entry fees we received for the first Dead Cat Poetry Prize have allowed us to do two things:

1. More than double the prize fund. This year, we will be awarding prizes of £75, £30 and £15 to our first, second and third placed poets respectively.

2. Make the entry fee optional. In lieu of an entry fee, we will be accepting donations via ko-fi.com/deadcatpoems. Donations can be of any size £1 and up (the bigger the better), but will not influence the judges' decision, and are not required for entry - they will, however, help to ensure the Prize's future. We appreciate your support!

We look forward to purr-using your words.
